CISA: China’s average daily crude steel output declines in mid-Sept

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has stated that in mid-September (Sept. 11-20) this year the average aggregate daily output of crude steel by large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1,522,700 mt, down 2.73 percent compared to early September (Sept. 1-10). In mid-September, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 1,856,500 mt, indicating a decrease of 2.01 percent compared with early September.
 
According to the figures previously released by the CISA, in early September (Sept. 1-10) this year the average aggregate daily production of crude steel by its member steel enterprises in China totaled 1.565 million mt, up 2.9 percent compared to late August (Aug. 21-31). In early September, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 1.895 million mt, indicating an increase of 1.2 percent compared with late August.
