According to the latest figures from the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China's crude steel production in early July (July 1-10) totaled 15.2395 million mt, with the daily output of crude steel reaching 1.524 million mt, exceeding the highest daily level so far this year of 1.522 million mt which was registered in mid-June.

In order to closely follow the changes in China's steel production, the CISA publishes statistics for every 10 days regarding the crude steel production of key large and medium-scale steelmakers in China and also estimates the production of small-scale mills, thereby generating its figures for overall national crude steel production.
