Colombian iron and steel exports down 31.8 percent in January

In January this year, Colombia exported 10,250 mt of ferronickel, down 19.3 percent, with a value of $21.3 million, decreasing by 61.4 percent, both year on year, as announced by the Colombian National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE).
 
In the given month, Colombia's iron and steel export volume totaled 13,800 mt, down 31.8 percent, with a value of $25.5 million, declining by 61.6 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
