CSSEA: China’s crude stainless steel output up 19.38 percent in Q1

In the January-March period this year, China produced 6.225 million mt of crude stainless steel, increasing by 19.38 percent or 1.01 million mt year on year, as announced by the Stainless Steel Council of the China Special Steel Enterprises Association (CSSEA).
 
In the given period, China produced 15,838 mt of duplex stainless steel, increasing by 2.23 percent or 346 mt year on year.
