European commercial vehicle registrations up 13 percent in June

In June this year, new commercial vehicle registrations in the European Union (EU) increased by 13 percent year on year to 223,519 units, rising for the eighteenth consecutive month on year-on-year basis, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA). 
 
In June this year, growth was sustained in all major markets. Italy (+29.9%) confirmed its positive momentum by displaying a substantial rise, followed by Spain (+14.5%), Germany (+11.3%), France (+11.1%) and the UK (+2.8%).
 
In the first half of this year, new commercial vehicle registrations in the EU totaled 1,170,263 units, up 13.5 percent on year-on-year basis. Italy (+30.8 percent), Spain (+14 percent), France (+12.7 percent), Germany (+10.4 percent) and the UK (+3.6 percent) recorded increases, all year on year.
