European long steel buyers use up almost half of import quotas as of late October

Upon review of current status of the steel import quotas imposed by the European Commission, it has been seen that long steel buyers have used up almost 50 percent of the quotas as of October 22.

Details of used and remaining quota volumes for certain products as of October 22 can be seen in the table below:
