Evraz companies issue output results for 2011

In 2011, Evraz DMZ Petrovskogo, located in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, an integrated steel mill specializing in the manufacture and sale of pig iron, steel and rolled products, saw a two percent decrease year on year in its crude steel production to 862,000 mt and a five percent decrease in its finished steel production to 745,000 mt.

In 2011, iron ore enrichment plant Evraz Sukha Balka, one of the leading Ukrainian enterprises specializing in iron ore underground mining, increased its sintering ore production by 34 percent year on year to 2.446 million mt.

Meanwhile, the coke production of Evraz companies, Evraz Bagliykoks, Dneprokoks and Evraz Dneprodzerzhinsky Coke and Chemical Plant (Evraz DKHZ), decreased by 15 percent year on year in 2011 to a total of 1.572 million mt.
