France’s steel product export value down 10.4 percent in Jan-Apr

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-April period this year France’s basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €3.43 billion, decreasing by 10.4 percent year on year.

In the given period, France exported €465.17 million of steel pipes and tubes - up 5.0 percent, €156.88 million of cold rolled steel bars - down by 26.7 percent, €290.73 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 20.7 percent, €116.86 million of cold drawn wire - decreasing by 10.5 percent, and €296.33 million of metal structures and parts - down by 1.0 percent, all compared to the same period of 2023.
