France's steel product export value down 13.6 percent in January-July

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the first seven months of this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €4.82 billion, falling by 13.6 percent year on year.
 
During the period in question, France exported €890.1 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 31.6 percent, €323.67 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 8.15 percent, €209.8 million of cold drawn wire - down by 8.5 percent, €196.07 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 2.4 percent, and €409.29 million of metal structures and parts - down by 11.2 percent, all compared to the same period of 2015.
