France’s steel product export value down 21.6 percent in Jan-Apr

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-April period this year France’s basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €3.82 billion, decreasing by 21.6 percent year on year.

In the given period, France exported €461.16 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 2.3 percent, €211.93 million of cold rolled steel bars - rising by 18.9 percent, €240.76 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 1.9 percent, €130.41 million of cold drawn wire - decreasing by 6.6 percent, and €298.91 million of metal structures and parts - rising by 11.1 percent, all compared to the same period of 2022.
