Freight volumes on China’s roads rise by 5.7 percent in H1

In the January-June period this year, the overall freight volume transported on China’s roads amounted to 19.01 billion mt, increasing by 5.7 percent, while the freight traffic volume on the country’s roads totaled 3420.38 billion mt-km, up 5.5 percent, both year on year, according to the latest data issued by China’s Ministry of Transportation (MOT).
