In January this year, the overall freight volume transported on China’s roads amounted to 3.19 billion mt, increasing by 6.3 percent, while the freight traffic volume on the country’s roads totaled 581.23 billion mt-km, up 7.0 percent, both year on year, according to the latest data issued by China’s Ministry of Transportation (MOT).
