German metal manufacturing turnover down 0.9 percent in Mar from Feb

In March this year, the seasonally and working-day adjusted turnover in the German manufacturing industry fell by 1.1 percent compared to February, according to the preliminary data reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). In February, a corrected 0.2 percent decrease was registered compared to January. 
  
In March of the current year, the turnover of German metal and metal product manufacturing decreased by 0.9 percent compared to the previous month with domestic sales down 3.7 percent and foreign sales up 3.4 percent, month on month. 
 
In the given month, the turnover in manufacture of fabricated metal products in Germany increased by 0.3 percent, with domestic sales narrowing by 2.2 percent and foreign sales up by 5.5 percent, all compared to the previous month.
