Germany's commercial vehicle output down 26 percent in January

In January this year, commercial vehicle registrations in the German market totaled 24,767 units, down 21.3 percent month on month and increasing by three percent year on year, according to the data released by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).
 
According to the VDA, in January this year 17,950 commercial vehicles rolled off production lines in Germany, which represents a month-on-month decrease of 23.7 percent and a year-on-year fall of 26 percent. 
 
In the given month, a total of 12,970 commercial vehicles were exported from Germany, down by 34.3 percent month on month and decreasing by 28 percent compared to January 2015.
