In February this year, commercial vehicle registrations in the German market totaled 25,620 units, up 6.17 percent month on month and increasing by 16 percent year on year, according to the data released by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). Meanwhile, in the first two months of this year, Germany's commercial vehicle registrations increased by 14 percent year on year, totaling 49,750 units.
According to the VDA, in February this year 28,750 commercial vehicles rolled off production lines in Germany, which represents a month-on-month increase of 18.8 percent and a year-on-year growth of 11 percent. German commercial vehicle output in the first two months of 2016 amounted to 52,950 units, showing zero growth from the same period of last year.
In February this year, a total of 22,020 commercial vehicles were exported from Germany, up by 22.7 percent month on month and increasing by four percent compared to February last year. In the first two months of the current year, German commercial vehicle exports amounted to 39,960 units, decreasing by two percent year on year.
