Hongxing Steel sees 58 percent decline in net profit for H1

Gansu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hongxing Iron and Steel Co., a subsidiary of Gansu-based Jiuquan Iron and Steel Group (JISCO), has issued its financial results for the first half of this year.

In the given period, Hongxing Iron and Steel achieved an operating revenue of RMB 34.604 billion ($5.46 billion), while its net profit totaled RMB 379 million ($59.78 million), down 57.97 percent compared to the same period last year.
