India’s coking coal import port traffic up 4.87 percent in April-August

India’s coking coal import traffic through all major ports in the country has been estimated at 25.30 million mt during the April-August period of the fiscal year 2024-25, up 4.87 percent year on year, according to the provisional data sourced from the Indian Ports Association (IPA) on Monday, September 9.

According to the data, iron ore import port traffic including pellets in the April-August period was estimated at 21.95 million mt, a marginal decline of 0.2 percent year on year.
