India’s iron ore output sees three percent rise in April-November

India’s iron ore production has been provisionally estimated at 182.6 million mt during the April-November period of the fiscal year 2024-25, up three percent over the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, according to the data released by the ministry of mines on Thursday, January 2.

Manganese ore production increased by 9.5 percent to 2.3 million mt during the same period, while chromite output was up 11.1 percent touching 2 million mt, year on year, the data showed.
