India’s Jindal Stainless Ltd completes $262 million Odisha mill expansion

India’s Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) has completed its $262 million expansion project at its Jajpur mill in Odisha, taking its stainless steel production capacity to 2.1 million mt per year from 1.1 million mt per year, a company statement said on Friday, April 28.

The company said that the merger of JSL and Jindal Stainless Hisar Limited has been completed and the group’s total stainless steel production capacity now stands at 3 million mt per year.
