India’s JSW Ispat Special Products Limited, a subsidiary of integrated steel producer JSW Steel Limited, has reported a net loss of INR 532.2 million ($6.48 million) in the first quarter (April-June) of the fiscal year 2023-24, against a net loss of INR 1,053.35 million ($12.83 million) in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, according to a regulatory filing on Wednesday, July 19.
The company was able to reduce its net loss by 49.47 percent over the first quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The company achieved a total income of INR 16.819 billion ($204.86 million) in the first quarter, marginally up 0.16 percent over the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
