India’s NMDC Limited sees 18% rise in iron ore output in November

Indian government-run miner NMDC Limited achieved iron ore production of 4.51 million mt in November this year, a rise of 17.75 percent over the corresponding month of the previous year, according to a company regulatory filing on Monday, December 2.

The company sold four million mt in November this year, up 5.54 percent year on year.

During the April-November period of the fiscal year 2024-25, the company’s cumulative iron ore output was recorded at 26.06 million mt, a decline of five percent year on year.

However, it sold 27.84 million mt during the April-November period of 2024-25, almost the same as during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, NMDC Limited reported.
