Italian steelmaker Arvedi sees reduced turnover in 2015

Italian flat steel and tube producer Arvedi Group has announced its financial results for the full year of 2015, showing a reduced profit but an increased steel output.

In 2015, the company registered a turnover of €2.07 billion compared to the turnover of €2.09 billion in 2014, while it recorded a net profit of €11.8 million. In the same year, Arvedi’s steel production increased by 22 percent year on year to 4 million mt, while its export sales rose by more than 50 percent from the previous year.

During 2015, the company’s investments amounted to €153.5 million. Meanwhile, in the current year Arvedi plans to close its investment cycle and focus its attention on debt reduction.
