Mexico's GDP grows 3.3 percent in Q3

The Mexican economy registered an increase of 3.3 percent in its GDP in the third quarter of the year, compared to the same period last year. It is the tenth consecutive annual increase, according to preliminary data from the national statistics agency Inegi.

The industrial sector, which contributes 28.5 percent of the economy, grew 4.5 percent. The services sector, which contributes 63.7 percent of total GDP, advanced 3.3 percent. The primary sector, which contributes 3.4 percent of the total, grew 3.0 percent.

World Bank data places Mexico as the fourteenth largest economy in the world, according to the most recent data as of 2022.
