Novosibirsk Metallurgical Works named after Kuzmin (NMZK), a subsidiary of the Russian steel producer ESTAR Holding (ESTAR), currently under the control of Russia's largest metal trader Metallservis Group (Metallservis), plans in October this year to increase its output of cold rolled steel by 69.1 percent month on month to 744 mt. In September NMZK's output of cold rolled steel amounted to 440 mt.

In September this year, NMZK decided to restart operations at its cold rolling shop No. 4, in line with Metallservis' strategy of restoring NMZK's market position and of expanding its product range.

Currently, NMZK operates six workshops: a hot rolling shop, flat and pipe production shop, electric-welded-pipe shop, cold rolling shop No. 4, maintenance shop, and power shop. Up to the end of the current year, NMZK plans to restart operations at its tube-drawing shop and at its hardware products shop.
