Novosibirsk Metallurgical Works named after Kuzmin (NMZK), a subsidiary of the Russian steel producer ESTAR Holding (ESTAR), has produced a trial lot of new sizes of shaped pipes, including 120 x 80 x 4 mm, 100 x 100 x 4 mm, 30 x 30 x 2 mm and 30 x 30 x 1.5 mm. The total volume of the lot in question amounted to 1,300 mt.

Meanwhile, in October this year NMZK also plans to master the production of two more products, i.e. 15 x 15 x 1.5 mm shaped pipe and 4 x 40 x 6,000 mm hot rolled strip.

According to Russia's largest metal trader Metallservis Group (Metallservis), which has received the operational control of NMZK for a period of five years, the plant is to further work on the expansion of its production range. This will allow NMZK to obtain stability in utilization of its production capacities and will improve the economic situation of the plant.
