Russia’s coal exports rise by 13.77 percent in H1

According to the data issued by Russia's Ministry of Energy, in the first half of the current year Russia’s coal exports increased by 13.77 percent year on year to 90.35 million mt. In June alone, Russian coal exports amounted to 15.91 million mt, up 11.45 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in the first six months Russia’s coal output rose by 5.94 percent year on year to 197.20 million mt, while in June alone the country’s coal production went up by 7.63 percent year on year to 31.34 million mt.
