Russia's stainless steel exports up 5.6% in February

Russian exports of stainless steel products in February this year increased by 5.6 percent month on month to 731 mt, according to Russia-based SpetsStal Association.

In particular, in February this year Russia's exports of long steel went up by 21.8 percent, its flat steel exports declined by 62.8 percent, exports of ERW pipes decreased by 44.4 percent, exports of seamless pipes moved up by 33.9 percent and billet exports increased by 35.2 percent, all month on month. At the same time, Russia's wire exports remained stable compared to January this year.
