According to the Customs Administration of Taiwan’s Ministry of Finance, Taiwan has extended the antidumping (AD) duty on stainless cold rolled steel product imports from China and South Korea from August 29, 2019 to August 28, 2024. According to the antidumping investigation, steelmakers from those countries have sold their products at less than fair value and the Taiwanese industry has been materially injured by these imports.
The antidumping duty rates stand at 38.11 percent for Chinese firms and at 37.65 percent for South Korean firms.
The products subject to the duty currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7219329011, 7219329012, 7219329019, 7219339011, 7219339012, 7219339019, 7219349011, 7219349012, 7219349019, 7219359011, 72193590012, 72173905019, 7220209011, 7220209012 and 7220209019.
