Thailand's motor vehicle output down 13.55 percent in November

In November this year, Thailand's total motor vehicle output (excluding motorcycles) amounted to 158,038 units, down 13.55 percent year on year, according to a report released by the Thailand Automotive Institute. On the other hand, Thailand's motor vehicle output in the first 11 months of this year saw a year-on-year decrease of 24.88 percent to 1,726,338 units.

In November of the current year, Thailand's motor vehicle exports totaled 106,591 units, up 11.03 percent year on year, while in the January-November period of this year the country's motor vehicle exports decreased by 0.12 percent year on year to 1,038,956 units.

In November, the number of motor vehicles sold in Thailand's domestic market totaled 73,068 units, down 21.84 percent year on year, while in the first 11 months of the current year the country's domestic motor vehicle sales decreased by 34.88 percent year on year to 792,328 units.
