Turkey's automotive sales fall 79.05 percent in January from December

In January this year, sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Turkey decreased by 5.5 percent year on year and were down by 79.05 percent month on month to 32,713 units, according to the statistics released by the Turkish Automotive Distributors Association (ODD). In the given month, domestic sales of passenger cars in Turkey decreased by 4.7 percent year on year and were down by 79.6 percent month on month to 23,358 units, while sales of light commercial vehicles decreased by 7.53 percent year on year and were down by 77.64 percent month on month to 9.355 units.
