The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Trade has received a complaint alleging that cold rolled stainless flat steel shipments from Turkey, Taiwan and Vietnam are circumventing the antidumping and subsidy measures on the given products from Indonesia, according to the statement sent by the Turkey’s Ministry of Commerce, Directorate-General for Imports to the associations in the domestic industry.
The commission has not initiated an investigation yet. The identity of the Turkish manufacturer-exporting companies mentioned in the complaint needs to be confirmed and, if there are other manufacturer-exporting companies exporting to the EU but not mentioned in the complaint, they should report their relevant company information to Turkey’s Ministry of Commerce today, August 2.
Antidumping duties on the given products from Indonesia are in the range of 9.3-20.2 percent and countervailing duties are in the range of 0-21.4 percent.
The products in question currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers of 7219.31.00, 7219.32.10, 7219.32.90, 7219.33.10, 7219.33.90, 7219.34.10, 7219.34.90, 7219.35.10, 7219.35.90, 7219.90.20, 7219.90.80, 7220.20.21, 7220.20.29, 7220.20.41, 7220.20.49, 7220.20.81, 7220.20.89, 7220.90.20 and 7220.90.80.
