Turkey’s HRC exports down 30.8 percent in January-April

In April this year, Turkey’s total hot rolled coil (HRC) exports declined by 42.5 percent compared to March and by 41.0 percent year on year, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). These exports had a value of $49.62 million, down by 42.0 percent month on month and by 55.9 percent compared to the same month of 2022.

In the January-April period of this year, Turkey’s HRC exports amounted to 325,092 mt, down 30.8 percent, while the value of these exports dropped by 44.4 percent to $239.82 billion, both compared to the same period of 2022.
