Turkish integrated long steel producer Kardemir Karabuk Demir Celik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. Meanwhile, another investment project of the company, its train wheel production plant, will be commissioned at the end of 2017.

At its wire rod plant, Kardemir will produce wire rods in a range of 5.5 millimeters to 25 millimeters, bars in coil rom 20 millimeters to 50 millimeters, rebar from 8 millimeters to 40 millimeters and round bar in a range of 20 millimeters to 100 millimeters. The plant has an annual production capacity of 700,000 mt, which can be increased to 1.4 million mt.

In addition, Kardemir said that its train wheel production plant will have an annual capacity of 200,000 units.
