Oleksandr Garkavy, director of Ukrainian steel pipe and railway wheel producer Interpipe’s railway products division, has stated during an interview with the Center for Transfer Strategies in Ukraine that the company has signed a deal with Europe’s largest coachbuilder Greenbrier for the supply of wheelsets and axles to the latter’s facility in Poland. However, the supply volume was not disclosed. According to Mr. Garkavy, this is the largest agreement signed by the company in the last two years.

Furthermore, he pointed out that Interpipe has also inked other supply contracts with customers in Spain and Finland and that, if the current trend seen in the first half of this year lasts until the year-end, the company will supply 40,000 wheels to the European market in the current year. Additionally, about 150,000 wheels will be supplied under other contracts.
