UNESID: Spanish steel output down 21.3 percent in July from June

According to the Spanish steelmakers association UNESID, in July this year Spain’s steel production totaled 836,000 mt, down by 21.3 percent month on month and up by 0.8 percent year on year.

In the given month, the Spanish steel industry recycled 615,000 mt of scrap to be used for new steel products, decreasing by 28.1 percent compared to June and up by 3.7 percent year on year.
