UNESID: Spanish steel output increases by 3.5 percent in March from February

According to the Spanish steelmakers association UNESID, in March this year Spain’s steel production totaled 982,000 mt, up by 3.5 percent month on month and down by 2.8 percent year on year.

In the given month, the Spanish steel industry recycled 711,000 mt of scrap to be used for new steel products, decreasing by 8.2 percent compared to February and by 27.6 percent year on year.
