US begins third investigation on imports of flat products from Germany and Korea

Wednesday, 04 January 2012 02:09:19 (GMT+3)   |

On Tuesday, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) and the International Trade Commission (ITC) formally began their sunset review of the anti-dumping orders on corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products from Germany and Korea and the countervailing duty order on corrosion-resistant carbon flat steel products from Korea.

This is the third review on the imported flat-rolled steel products, and the US DOC and ITC will now determine whether revoking the current orders would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of injury to the US domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.
