US DOC initiates AD reviews on multiple steel products

On Friday, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the initiation of administrative reviews of antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders with a May anniversary date. 

The DOC initiated the following administrative reviews of AD orders involving steel products:

(1)  Stainless Steel Plate in Coils from Belgium (A-423-808) - Aperam Stainless Belgium N.V.

(2)  Oil Country Tubular Goods from China (A-570-943) - multiple companies

(3)  Circular Welded Carbon Steel Pipes and Tubes from Taiwan (A-583-008) - Chung Hung Steel Corp.; Far East Machinery Co., Ltd.; Kao Hsing Chang Iron & Steel Corp.; Shin Yang Steel Co., Ltd.; Tension Steel Industries Co., Ltd.; and Yieh Phui Enterprise Co., Ltd

(4)  Circular Welded Carbon Steel Pipes and Tubes from Turkey (A-489-501) - multiple companies, including Borusan Group, Erbosan, Guven Group, Toscelik Group, and Yucel Group

(5)  Light-Walled Rectangular Pipes and Tubes from Turkey (A-489-815) - Yucel Group

(6)  Steel Nails from United Arab Emirates (A-520-804) 00 Dubai Wire FZE; and Precision Fasteners L.L.C

The period of review is May 1, 2012 through April 30, 2013.

The DOC did not initiate any administrative reviews of CVD orders involving steel products.
