The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the preliminary results of its administrative reviews of the antidumping duty orders on prestressed concrete steel wire strand (PC strand) from Malaysia.

During the review periods from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023, some Malaysian producers were found to have made sales of the given products at less than normal value. The DOC has determined a weighted-average dumping margin of 0.73 percent for Wei Dat Steel Wire Sdn. Bhd and Southern PC Steel Sdn. Bhd, zero percent for Kiswire Sdn. Bhd.

In addition, the DOC rescinded the review on imports of the given product for Southern Steel Sdn. Bhd. that made no shipments of PC strand into the US during the period of review.
