In March this year, it had produced its ninth millionth mt of hot rolled coil since first production, as SteelOrbis previously reported.

The Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 project, which will have a high-quality HRC production capacity of 5.6 million per year, is under construction. With it coming online, Hoa Phat’s total production capacity will increase to about 9 million mt per year.
