WTO decides against Chinese AD measure on Japanese stainless steel

Wednesday, 21 June 2023 14:21:44 (GMT+3)   |   Istanbul

The World Trade Organization (WTO) has announced that it has concluded its investigation regarding the complaint of Japan regarding China’s antidumping measure on certain stainless steel products from the country.

The panel, which had been established pursuant to the request of Japan in June last year, has found that the antidumping measure is inconsistent with the WTO antidumping agreement.

The WTO has called on China to take the findings of this report seriously and promptly bring its WTO-inconsistent measures into conformity with its obligations under the WTO agreement.
