Notable pipe, semi-finished, wire rod, HDG coil and plate shipments into the US, April 20-27

Pipe:

  • Three shipments totaling 1,189 metric tons of black ERW steel pipe arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on April 23 from the port of Kinuura, Japan.
Semi-finished:
  • 1,486 metric tons of steel blooms arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on April 23 from the Port of Victoria, Brazil.
  • 4,889 metric tons of steel slab arrived into the Port of Brownsville, Texas on April 23 from the Port of Fukuyama, Japan.
Wire rod:
  • 36 shipments totaling 1,145 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of Cleveland, Ohio on April 25 from the Port of Brake, Germany.
Hot-dipped galvanized coil:
  • 1,047 metric tons of HDG coil arrived into the Port of Savannah, Georgia on April 21 from the Port of Bombay, India.
  • 1,003 metric tons of HDG coil arrived into the Port of Savannah, Georgia on April 21 from the Port of Bombay, India (from a different consignee).
Plate:
  • 1,155 metric tons of hot rolled steel plate arrived into the Port of Los Angeles, California on April 25 from the Port of Tianjin, China.
  • Three shipments totaling 4,146 metric tons of hot rolled steel plate arrived into the Port of Mobile, Alabama from all other People's Republic of China Ports.
  • 3,003 metric tons of hot rolled steel plate arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on April 23 from the Port of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
  • 1,563 metric tons of hot rolled steel plate arrived into the Port of Brownsville, Texas on April 20 from the Port of Altamira, Mexico.
