Brazilian HRC export price declines sharply in two weeks

Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC exports with their South American clients in a reference price of $850/mt, against $920/mt two weeks ago, FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades.

In the Brazilian domestic market, HRC of the basic commercial grades is sold by producers, in medium to large volumes, at BRL 5,400/mt ($1,069/mt), against BRL 5,630/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, no taxes included.

In February, Brazil exported 50,300 mt of HRC, in average at $751/mt, while imported 29,400 mt at $586/mt, both FOB conditions.
