HRC import offers to Spain

The Spanish hot rolled coil (HRC) market continues to witness slow activity due to weakness of the euro, while market demand is significantly low, with buyers delaying their purchases for a while.

SteelOrbis has learned that in the Spanish flat steel market HRC offers from the UK stand at €530/mt ($721/mt) CIF, while HRC offers given from Italy stand at the price range of €530-540/mt ($721-734/mt) CIF. It is also reported that prices may be lower in the transaction phase.
