Over the past month, Bulgarian domestic rebar prices have fallen by BGN 10/mt (€5/mt) against the backdrop of sluggish demand and since some stockists are willing to give bigger discounts in view of the depressed market conditions. In addition, wire rod and beam prices have risen by BGN 10-30/mt (€5-15/mt) due to relatively better demand. Moreover, merchant bar prices have remained stable. "Prices have remained rather similar. The market is flat with limited demand," a source mentioned.
