SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 10,800-11,500/mt ($335-357/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 38,500-41,000/mt ($1,196-1,273/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early June shipments.
