Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 26, 2024

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have risen by NTD 300/mt ($9$/mt) over the past week to NTD 10,800-11,500/mt ($332-353/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 39,500-42,000/mt ($1,213-1,290/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-July shipments.
