Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 52, 2023

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 11,500-12,200/mt ($376-399/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 36,500-39,000/mt ($1,195-1,277/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-January shipments.
