Following the rises seen in both local and import coking coal in China last week due to tight supply and the somewhat stronger steel market, Chinese producers have accepted price hikes for domestic coke early this week.

First-grade coke prices in Tangshan are at RMB 2,420/mt ($338/mt) ex-warehouse, moving up by RMB 110/mt, according to SteelOrbis’ data.
