ArcelorMittal Temirtau to invest $250 million in development

The steel giant ArcelorMittal intends to invest about $250 million up to 2012 in the development projects at its Kazakhstan-based subsidiary ArcelorMittal Temirtau.

In line with the forecasts of the company's experts, about $100 million in investments is targeted for the implementation of ArcelorMittal Temirtau's projects in the next two years, and about a further $150 million up to 2012. Accordingly, the company has already started to search for partners and investors for the implementation of its projects in the 2010-2012 period.
